360 degree feedback on the chair of governors
The local authority and BGA have been carrying out a governance risk and support assessment which encourages governing bodies to complete a self-assessment and identify gaps in their practice. Several governors have raised the issue of how to carry out a 360° of the chair of governors. In the following article  the chair of a local primary school explains how this was done in her school.
